President Biden celebrated record-breaking stock market highs by taking a jab at his predecessor, Donald Trump.
In a tweet, Biden shared a clip of Trump predicting a market crash if he won the 2020 election, followed by a news clip announcing record closes for both the Dow and S&P 500. He simply captioned it, “Good one, Donald.”

Trump, however, has openly wished for a crash under Biden’s presidency. He expressed hope for a downturn within the next year, stating his desire to avoid being seen as another “Herbert Hoover,” who was president during the 1929 stock market crash and the subsequent Great Depression.
